Summer is a time for hot days, pool parties, and vacations. Also in summer our skin required lot of care and attention.
Here are some summer skin care tips that will help your skin deal better with the hottest months and make it look more radiant during the whole summer.
1- Apply Sunscreen
It’s very important to apply sunscreen any time you are in the sun, including during the winter months. We tend to spend more time outside when it’s warmer out, typically from June through September.
The most important thing is that you need to protect your skin from the sun. If you don’t do that, your skin can age faster and increase your risk of skin cancer.
Look for sunscreens that offer:

– broad spectrum protection
– lip protection

2- Moisturize Your Skin
Your skin does’nt need moisturizer only in winter, but in summer also. Regardless of any skin type, moisturizer is a part and parcel product for every skin type. With dry skin every wrinkle emphasizes making you look older. Moisturizer helps your skin to produce more moisture to keep it hydrated and healthy. 3- Exfoliate once or twice a week
Exfoliation removes the top layer of dead skin cells. In the summer you may have noticed that your skin is oilier due to increased heat and humidity. This makes exfoliation that much more critical. In summer your pores are getting filled with the daily environmental exposures, dirt, makeup, oil, sweat and air moisture. All of this becomes more noticeable during summer months, and all this can lead to larger appearing pores and increased acne.

4- Take Cool Showers
Taking bath with hot water can dry your skin more, so it is always better to use luke warm or cool water for your skin. Besides, cool water is also better for blood flow and skin micro circulation. Keeping water temperature a little bit down has great benefits for the body and skin.
5- Increase Water Intake
If you have been stayed out long in the sun and got sun burnt, drinking water can speed up the healing process. Water keep us hydrated in the hot summer days. Keep yourself hydrated helps increase elasticity in the skin as it stays moisturized for longer. Its also help delayed sagging of the skin and no premature appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
